To me, Inner Beauty is the Christmas present. You see the wrapping paper, you're excited, you're happy, it's under the tree, it's wonderful, it's amazing. Notice how a lot of the gifts look the same. Some wrapping paper is kind of ripped, or maybe an ugly color. Maybe it's wrapped badly. Some of the wrapping paper is amazing, perfect. But then you tear open the presents. All of them are wonderful, unique, and heartfelt. It didn't matter what the wrapping paper was. You hardly remember the wrapping paper. The wrapping paper was Outer Beauty. The inside was Inner Beauty.
Maybe that wasn't completely true, because Outer Beauty can be important to. You aren't a bad person if you believe in Outer Beauty, and looking your "best." That's part of who you are. But you need to recognize that you can't judge people by how much mascara they wear, or how pretty their hair is. You need to judge them for who they are.
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius; and it is better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."
-- Marilyn Monroe
